About us
Rooted in compassion, built around you
Clear Conscience Counseling was founded on a simple, unwavering belief: every person deserves access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care — delivered with dignity, warmth, and respect.

Who we are
A practice built on presence and purpose
Clear Conscience Counseling is a New Jersey-based behavioral health practice serving individuals, couples, families, and teens — from our South Plainfield office and by secure telehealth across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
Our team of licensed clinicians brings genuine care and specialized training to every session. We work across a broad spectrum of concerns — from everyday stress and anxiety to trauma, addiction, eating disorders, and complex family dynamics — adapting our approach to fit the person in front of us, not the other way around.
Whether you're navigating a difficult season, supporting a child through a hard time, or ready to do the deeper work you've been putting off — we're here. And we're glad you found us.

Our approach
Evidence-based care, delivered with a human touch
We believe the best therapy is both grounded in research and deeply relational. Our clinicians draw from proven modalities — EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, family systems approaches — and apply them within a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and genuine curiosity about your experience.
Our work is trauma-informed at every level. That means we understand how past experiences shape present behavior, and we move at a pace that feels safe for you. Your goals guide the work; our role is to walk alongside you with skill, honesty, and patience.
We don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Instead, we listen carefully, collaborate openly, and adjust as your needs evolve — because healing is a process, not a prescription.
Dr. Gore founded CCC to expand access to mental health and substance abuse care in his community. An LPC, LCADC, ACS, and Certified Trauma Professional, he leads the practice, supervises clinicians, and continues to treat clients in trauma, addiction, and family care.
What makes us different
Care that goes a step further
We’ve built our practice around the things that matter most to clients — accessibility, trust, and a team that truly shows up.
Warm, judgment-free care from day one
We know reaching out takes courage. Our team responds with patience, respect, and zero pressure — so you can take that first step without hesitation.
Multilingual care across eight languages
We believe language should never be a barrier to healing. Our clinicians provide care in English, Spanish, Arabic, Polish, Hindi, Urdu, Pashto, and American Sign Language (ASL).
Licensed clinicians with specialized training
Every member of our clinical team holds active NJ licensure and undergoes ongoing supervision and continuing education in evidence-based modalities.
Care for teens and adults (12+)
From teens to adults and older adults, we offer developmentally attuned care that meets each person at their stage of life — with telehealth therapy for ages 12 and up and in-person visits for adults.
Multiple levels of care under one roof
Flexible access — from weekly outpatient sessions to our Intensive Outpatient Program — means you get the right level of support without hunting for multiple providers.
In person and by telehealth
In-person appointments are available at our South Plainfield office; telehealth extends our care to clients across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
Clinical quality
Ongoing training. Thoughtful supervision. Consistent standards.
Our commitment to quality doesn't end at licensure. Every CCC clinician participates in regular clinical supervision and structured continuing education — ensuring that our practice reflects the latest, most effective approaches in mental health care.
We invest in staff development through evidence-based training programs, internal case consultation, and ongoing professional growth opportunities. This isn't box-checking — it's a genuine commitment to delivering the best possible care to every client we serve.
Our supervisory framework supports both seasoned clinicians and newer practitioners, fostering a culture of reflection, growth, and accountability that flows directly into client outcomes.
Culturally informed care
A safe space for every background, every story
We serve one of the most diverse states in the country, and our practice reflects that. Our clinicians bring cultural humility and genuine attunement to every session — meeting clients within their own context, values, and lived experience.
Our multilingual services aren't an add-on — they're fully integrated into our clinical team. Clients who speak English, Spanish, Arabic, Polish, Hindi, Urdu, or Pashto, or who use American Sign Language (ASL), receive the same quality of care, in the language where they feel most understood.
We affirm and welcome clients of all cultural backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. Our goal is simple: to make sure you feel seen, heard, and safe.
- Care in 8 languages, including ASL
